Assurance Farmer Style!!!

In my early morning preparations I came across this verse in my journal that I had written April 13th as I was preparing to plant corn last spring. At that momment we had about 3 inches of fresh fallen snow on the ground.(not exactly a planting scene.) As always the weather causes us some concern and anxiety, but there was something so beautiful and peaceful about that blanket of snow. I found this comforting verse in my Bible that day. In a very different way this verse is comforting me today. Hopefully you can make the connection. "As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:10-11.
May God Bless You and Keep You!
Jeff

Dear Jeff, Sherri, Clay, Erin, Suzanne, and Brett,

We just arrived home from St. Maarten, and we said we were ready to come home but.....this weather could have changed our minds earlier.

So glad you received your notification and finally get to meet your two new family members. My heart cried a lot of tears this week because we weren't home to say, "good-by," and I couldn't figure the Dutch language to get on your blog. Finally, I realized that I needed my password, and I fanatically forgot it!!

I am certain the plane ride will be longer for you to get there than to come back. I think the kids will probably enjoy new discoveries and friendships during their plane rides. We are certainly hoping everything will go well for you and pray that you have a happy and safe journey to complete your harvest
