We will be leaving Ho Chi Minh City tomorrow night(Sunday night here you Sunday a.m.) We will arrive there approx. 11:30 p.m. We will meet with our actual coordinator on Monday. Plan to see Ha Long Bay on Tuesday. A three hour drive from Hanoi to the sea then a boat ride on Ha Long Bay. Wednesday we are scheduled to meet with the Embassy and Thursday scheduled to receive Visas in the A.M. Looks like we will probably fly home Friday evening, your Friday morning and arrive home sometime Saturday if my timing is correct. About the Eli and Emily: Emily is much smaller than we expected approx. 14 lbs I would guess. She is a good baby and very adorable. Eli is also very adorable but is clinging to Jeff at all times making it difficult when Jeff has had to leave for meetings. Hopefully finished with those Jeff only meetings. However it was nice for me to be able to stay at the hotel with all kids and not drag them along. Wish I could send pictures but as long as it takes me to post a blog, I don't think I have time to sit hear and wait on the pictures to upload. (But I do know how Curt,Julie,Doug and Maudie) We would like to ask for your prayers again for our new friends the Urbans from Oklahoma. Their blog site is Urbansworld.blogspot.com. Julie and Melissa E.you'll want to see it. They are going through so so so much. It make our stuggles seem light. Please pray also that our plans go according to schedule as we are really ready to come home. I got a poem off of the Urbans Blogsite I want to include:
Legacy of an Adopted Child
Once there wre two women
Who never knew each other.
One you do not remember
The other you call Mother.
Two different lives shaped
To make yours one.
One became your guiding star
The other became your sun.
The first gave you life,
The second taught you to live in it.
The first gave you a need for love
And the second was there to give it.
One gave you a nationality,
The other gave you a name.
One gave you the seed of talent,
The other gave you aim.
One gave you emotions,
The other calmed your fears.
One saw your first smile,
The other dried your tears.
One gave you up because it
Was all that she could do.
The other prayed for a child,
And was led straight to you.
And now you ask me the age old question?
Which are you a product of?
Neither my darling, neither,
Just two different kinds of Love.
Thank you for your thougths and prayers!!
We found ourselves looking very forward to your comments too!! The keep us feeling close to home!! Love to you all!
Jeff and Sherri
Still praying for you Lori and family!

Sherri and Jeff- I feel like I can not be away from my computer for more than an hour at a time, or I start wondering if you have sent another message! I hate not being able to talk to you, but am thankful that we can at least have these updates. It sounds like a whirlwind there, I hope you are getting enough rest. It is just a blessing that it is going so smoothly and you will be home in a week. We can not wait to see you or at least hear your voice! We are praying for you constantly.
Julie
Jeff and Sherri,
The highlight of my day is your updates. How Beautiful Eli and Emily sound. I cannot wait to hold Emily. But It sounds like I would have to pry Eli away from Jeff, so we will save a huge for him later. I have been reading The Urbans blog. God has a plan, I just hope their plan is the same as his. Ava sure does need them. She looks like she loves them already. I wasn't sure from the latest message if they are taking her home or she has to go to the father? I will pray they get to take her home. Hope to see you soon. Will continue to pray for safe trip home. I'm almost jealous if I didn't know it was wrong to feel that way. I'm very happy for you. What do the kids think? I bet Eli and Emily have lots of hugs and kisses daily:)
Love,
Melissa
