Excitement not over yet!
I really thought by now the "fun" would have worn off and the kids would be saying "do I have to" when asked to help with Eli and Emily. Not so AT ALL. It is still like having friends over 24/7. They still argue over who got Emily up last who gets to get Eli out of bed in the morning. It been two monthes since we've been home and the kids are still drooling over Eli and Emily. There is no doubt that God has given them a heart for orphans. They are ready to adopt again. They see no good reason why we can't just start the whole process over again. I am so proud of each of them. Brett has no doubt had the biggest adjustment, but his heart is adjusting just like we expected. He is becoming a wonderful Big brother. Eli is learning new words almost everyday there are some words we wish he would understand more quickly - I think he understands somethings, but pretends he doesn't. I guess that is just normal for a two year old. He plays so well with the kids. He is very good while we are doing school, he either sits at the table with us, plays quietly around us, or when he starts getting out of hand I put him in the play pen with legos and he'll play for hours. Emily is doing great too. She has gain approx. 3 pounds and is finally beginning to eat. She is so good natured, but is still quite a "mommy's girl". God's has certainly blessed us with two wonderful children.

I was excited to see your new post, along with pics. Good to hear how things have been. What a blessing to see how God has touched all of your lives, as you have chosen to follow His calling.
hi sherry, I know you don't log on here very often but I thought you will see this comment sometime. I hope everyone is doing good at your house. College is a lot of fun. I also found out it's a lot of work too. I'm having to learn how to actually study outside of classes for hours. The classes are going good though. There is always something going on here that sounds like more fun than sitting in the dorm and studying so I'm having to learn how to mange my time some too. I hope my parents aren't expecting straight A's on my semester report card! Everyone here is really nice and I have made lots of friends but most people still seem surprised and a little disgusted when I tell them I work on a hog farm in the summer lol. Well I hope everyone is doing good and tell everyone I said hi. Taylor
